CPCard Prices

data transparency

Data sources and coverage

The site combines structured card catalogs with marketplace price signals. Coverage varies by game and by platform, so each page shows source and freshness details where possible.

Metadata sources

Metadata sources provide card names, set codes, rarity, release dates, and images. They are used to build stable card pages and set pages before any marketplace price is attached.

  • YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • PokemonTCG.io for Pokemon
  • Scryfall for Magic: The Gathering

Pricing sources

Price snapshots currently cover major marketplaces and pricing feeds such as TCGPlayer, Cardmarket, eBay, Amazon, and CoolStuffInc where available. The card detail page keeps platform labels visible so users can judge the source.

Seller listings

Seller listing aggregation is kept separate from daily market snapshots. Ruten is the first implemented seller listing scraper, with other marketplace rows planned as matching quality improves.
